The Northeast Wildlife team has created dozens of disease fact sheets that can be used by wildlife biologists, researchers, zoologists, the public, and everyone in between. The diseases covered have a focus on the Northeast Regions of the United States but as we grow we continue to add new facts sheets for wildlife diseases around the globe.
Some diseases, like Canine Distemper Virus, are relevant to both wildlife and domestic species and others are zoonotic which means they can cross over the human populations as well.
Each fact sheet focuses on the following information with sources and several options for further reading included in each.
