Wildlife Disease Symposium at NEAFWA Conference


The NWDC is hosting a symposia to explore wildlife disease issues in the NE. Topics will include some case studies such as common eider mass mortality events, development of an assay to detect P. tenuis in moose and other cervids, and surveillance of flu viruses in wild ducks along with a discussion of how climate change is impacting wildlife diseases, what that means, and how it impacts wildlife conservation and management.
